My Passion for Helping Others

Over the last 8 years, I have taught many women in person, online classes and webinars on how to create healthy habits and I provided many with natural solutions and supplements as well as a protocol to start their journey to wellness. Some embraced the journey and followed the protocols, resulting in them feeling so much better. But others really struggled with implementing the new protocols and new habits, which resulted in them being no further ahead with their goals.

When I followed up my clients, those that were struggling with the change would say "oh I have been too busy and haven't started yet" or "I started to follow the protocol but I struggle being consistent". "I am too overwhelmed, I just don't know where to start". This feedback got me thinking There was a gap between providing the solution and creating the habit. What was missing was the accountability piece. Which has led me to why I created my Wellness Coaching Program.

WHAT IS WELLNESS?

Wellness is a holistic concept that refers to a state of optimal health and well-being. It encompasses physical, mental, and emotional, aspects of a person's life. The goal of wellness is to improve and maintain overall wellness and to prevent illness and disease. It involves creating healthy lifestyle habits such as regular exercise, a balanced diet, stress management, and social and emotional support to achieve optimal health and happiness.

WHAT IS A WELLNESS LIFESTYLE

A wellness lifestyle is a way of living that prioritizes health and well-being. It involves making choices and adopting habits that support physical, mental, and emotional health. This may include:

  • Eating a balanced and nutritious diet

  • Engaging in regular physical activity

  • Getting sufficient sleep

  • Managing stress through techniques such as meditation, breathing techniques &/oror relaxation technique

  • Exercise

  • Avoiding unhealthy habits

  • Engaging in activities that bring joy and fulfillment

A wellness lifestyle is about creating a holistic balance between all aspects of life and making intentional choices that support overall health and well-being. It is a proactive approach to promoting good health, rather than simply treating illness or disease after it occurs.

ROLE OF A WELLNESS COACH

A wellness coach is a professional who helps individuals improve their overall well-being. Taking a holistic approach to identify areas of improvement and develop personalized plans to help clients achieve their goals in areas such as nutrition, exercise, stress management, sleep habits, and other lifestyle factors.

As a wellness coach I provide support, guidance and accountability to help clients stay motivated to create simple and easy healthy habits to achieve optimal health and well-being.. I take a holistic approach to identify areas of improvement and I develop personalized plans to help you achieve their goals. This may include working on nutrition, exercise, stress management, mindset, sleep habits, and other lifestyle factors.

Client 1 - Women ready for change

Women live very busy stressful lives, juggling many responsibilities and feeling pulled in a million directions, typically put the needs of others before their own. Some women, regardless of their busy stressful lives make time to live healthy but that is not the norm. For many women, the idea of self care seems like a dream, something that isn't realistic or a priority, it might not even be on the radar. Getting into a workout routine starts and stops based on whats going on in life. Eating healthy has fallen to the way side as its easier to grab whats easy and convenient rather than what is healthy. The desire to make changes may be there but where to begin seems so overwhelming. If this is you, let me help you take the overwhelm out of becoming healthy!

Client 2 - Women in Peri-menopause/Menopause

I myself entered into this phase of my life 3 years ago and I wish I had someone to turn to for help and direction. My hormones turned my life upside down and started dictating how my life was going to be. I experienced weight gain, I would work out and it wouldn't make a difference, I struggled with hot flashes, night sweats, irritability, tiredness, missed periods, rage, not sleeping through the night. My doctor just said that there was nothing I could do! She was so wrong. I spent countless hours doing research, attending summits, reading books, watching videos and then taking a certification for Integrative Nutrition for Women's Health. After all my research and trial and error with my own journey, I lost 40 pounds, hot flashes/night sweats disappeared, finally had energy and started sleeping through the night again. If you are struggling with this phase of life, I want to help you and teach you how to make changes so that you can get your life back!!
